Larry Harmon, the man credited with making Bozo the Clown the icon he was, died Thursday of congestive heart failure. He was 83.
Harmon wasn't the original Bozo, but built up the character and eventually licensed it to television stations across the country.

Lee Grivas, the 26-year-old boyfriend of Christina Applegate, was found dead in his apartment.
His body was discovered on July 1 by a neighbor who found him in the living room of his Hollywood apartment. Grivas was pronounced dead at 5:25 PM.
Although the autopsy has not been completed, we're told there were no visible signs of trauma.
Applegate and Grivas dated on and off for years after the pair met through a dancer in her Broadway show "Sweet Charity."

The supermodel who fell nine stories to her death on Saturday committed suicide, the NYC medical examiner has ruled.
The cause of death was blunt impact injuries, says the ME. Ruslana Korshunova's body was found on Water Street in the financial district on Saturday afternoon.
Ruslana appeared on the cover of international editions of Vogue and Elle.

A Kazakh supermodel who appeared on the cover of Vogue and Elle magazines fell to her death from the ninth floor of her apartment building in lower Manhattan yesterday afternoon.

Ruslana Korshunova, 20, was found on Water Street in the Financial District wearing jeans and a tank top, and witnesses, including one who spoke to diaday.com, say they heard a loud noise and then discovered that a body lay in the middle of the street. One witness tells TMZ that he originally thought the woman had been hit by a car.
Cops say they are investigating the incident.

Bust out those seven words, it's time for a tribute. Legendary comedian George Carlin has died.
The 71-year-old Carlin died around 6:00 PM PT this evening at an L.A. hospital after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains.
A battle over his comedy -- namely his "Filthy Words" routine -- went all the way to the Supreme Court.

There's got to be a better name for these jacked-up roadsters than Funny Car.

Scott Kalitta, 46, died Saturday after his Funny Car burst into flames while going 300 MPH and then smashed into a barrier at a New Jersey raceway. The two-time Top Fuel champion was pronounced dead at hospital a short time later.
Kalitta is survived by his father, his wife, Kathy, and two sons, Corey, 14, and Colin, 8.

Sadia Morrison, the woman who was with NFL star Pacman Jones during his infamous Vegas strip club melee last year, was found dead in New York on Friday -- and her friends and family think she was thrown off a building.
Police have not ruled on anything yet, only that they're "looking at any and all possibilities."
According to BET.com, Morrison had recently organized a celebrity PlayStation tournament at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club to raise funds for at-risk youth.
Morrison plead no contest to her role in the brawl that left a security guard shot and paralyzed from the waist down.

A clot in Tim Russert's left artery led to his heart attack on Friday, an autopsy report has revealed. He suffered from asymptomatic coronary artery disease. Tim's physician was surprised, saying Russert had a stress test in April that came back normal.
Russert was paid tribute today on "Meet the Press", the show he hosted for the last 17 years. Tom Brokaw took over hosting duties for the day to show highlights of Russert's career and life.

NBC News' Tim Russert has died of a heart attack. He was 58.
He was working in NBC's Washington bureau today when he collapsed while recording voice overs.
DC Fire tells us the call came in at 1:41 PM ET. We're told they transported one adult male patient in cardiac arrest to Sibley Hospital where he died.
The "Meet the Press" host and author is survived by his wife, Maureen Orth -- a special correspondent for Vanity Fair -- and their adult son, Luke.

Legendary comedic actor Harvey Korman died today. He was 81.
The actor, possibly best known for his stint on the "The Carol Burnett Show" and in the film "Blazing Saddles," died at UCLA Medical Center after suffering complications from the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm four months ago.
Carol Burnett's assistant told the AP the actress was devastated by the news, but she has not yet released a statement.
He is survived by his wife and four children.

An Ohio coroner has ruled that the death of R&B singer Sean Levert in a Cleveland jail was due to natural causes.
Levert suffered from a litany of different ailments, including heart disease and high blood sugar. He was only 39.
Levert was taken to the hospital after he collapsed while in restraints at the Cuyahoga County Jail. The coroner's report indicates no foul play or trauma was involved in his death.

Rapper and actor Xzibit's newborn son died early Monday morning.
According to a post on Xzibit's MySpace blog, Xavier Kingston Joiner was born prematurely on May 15. The rapper, whose real name is Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, says the baby's lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on their own and after a difficult week, Xavier died at 3:30 AM.
